GTA 6 weapons list: every gun spotted in the trailers so far
What guns will be in GTA 6? As with the cars, Rockstar hasn't released a weapons list or officially named the guns. The game launches November 19, 2026, and everything below comes from the two trailers and official screenshots. The weapon categories are clearly shown; the specific real-world models are fan/expert identifications (often via the Internet Movie Firearms Database), not confirmations.
Weapon categories confirmed in the trailers
- Pistols / handguns — both protagonists carry them; seen in the robberies.
- Submachine guns (SMGs) — the Trailer 2 bank robbery.
- Assault and carbine rifles.
- Shotguns — the robbery scenes.
- Heavy weapons — a grenade launcher is clearly used in Trailer 2.
Specific GTA 6 guns fans have identified
Names are fan/expert identifications; the real-world basis is the reliable part:
- Jason's pistol — appears based on a Beretta 92FS (the slide is engraved "Sua Sponte", a US Army Ranger motto).
- Lucia's pistol — appears based on a Glock 17, engraved with roses.
- A compact semi-auto pistol seen at the end of the Trailer 1 liquor-store robbery.
- An SMG resembling an H&K MP5 (one shown with a red-dot optic).
- Carbine/assault rifles in M4 / AR-15 and AK patterns.
- A pump-action shotgun (Mossberg 590-style) and a Milkor MGL-style grenade launcher.
How many weapons will GTA 6 have?
Outlets have tallied roughly 19 guns "confirmed so far", but that count blends the trailers, screenshots and the 2022 leak. Broader lists (revolvers, sniper rifles, LMGs, RPGs, melee weapons) are based on series precedent and leaks, not the official trailers — so treat them as expected, not shown.
The bottom line
