GTA 6 PC System Requirements (Expected)

Updated 5 July 2026. These are expected requirements. Rockstar has not published official GTA 6 PC requirements yet.
Rockstar has not released official GTA 6 PC system requirements, because there is no confirmed PC version or date yet. But based on the PS5/Xbox Series X|S target hardware and how demanding Grand Theft Auto VI looks, we can give a realistic, clearly-labelled estimate of what your PC will likely need. We will replace these with the official specs the moment Rockstar publishes them.
Official GTA 6 PC requirements
Not available yet. Rockstar typically reveals PC specs a month or two before a PC launch, and GTA 6 has no PC date. Ignore any "official GTA 6 requirements" list circulating now, they are estimates or fakes. This page tracks the credible expectation until the real thing arrives.

Expected minimum requirements (estimate)
- OS: Windows 10/11 64-bit
- CPU: around Intel Core i5-8600 / AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- GPU: around NVIDIA RTX 2060 / RTX 3060 or AMD RX 5700
- RAM: 16 GB
- Storage: ~150 GB on an SSD (required)
Expected recommended requirements (estimate)
- CPU: around Intel Core i7-10700K / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- GPU: around NVIDIA RTX 4070 / RTX 4070 Ti or AMD RX 7800 XT
- RAM: 32 GB
- Storage: ~150 GB SSD (NVMe recommended)
Will GTA 6 need an SSD?
Yes, almost certainly. The PS5 and Xbox Series consoles are built around fast SSD storage, and GTA 6's streaming-heavy open world was designed with that in mind. Expect an SSD to be mandatory on PC, with NVMe recommended for the smoothest streaming.
When will the requirements be revealed?
Likely close to a PC release, which itself is unconfirmed. Bookmark this page and our GTA 6 on PC hub, we will post the official specs the day they drop. Planning a build or a console purchase? See the price and pre-order guide.
