GTA 6 cheats: will there be cheat codes, and how will they work?
Straight answer: there are no GTA 6 cheats yet, because the game isn't out — Grand Theft Auto VI launches on November 19, 2026. Any site claiming to have working GTA 6 cheat codes, a "money generator" or an APK right now is fake. But if Rockstar keeps tradition, GTA 6 will have cheat codes in single-player, and we'll publish the full, tested list here the moment the game drops.
Are there GTA 6 cheats right now?
No. The game hasn't released, so no cheat codes exist. Beware of scams built around this exact search — "GTA 6 money cheat", "free GTA 6", "GTA 6 APK" — none of them are real, and many are malware or account-phishing traps.
How many cheats can we expect in GTA 6?
Rockstar has packed cheats into every GTA. For reference: GTA III shipped with around 23 codes, San Andreas with 90+, and GTA V with 34. So GTA 6 will very likely arrive with a generous list of single-player cheats.
How did cheats work in GTA 5 (and likely GTA 6)?
In GTA V, cheats were entered two ways in single-player: as controller button combinations, or by dialling a code into the in-game phone. They let you do things like give weapons and full health, change the wanted level, spawn vehicles or change the weather. Expect a similar input system in GTA 6.
Will GTA 6 cheats disable achievements?
In past GTA games, activating cheats disabled achievements and trophies for that session and could block some progress — so it's smart to save your game before using them. Expect the same in GTA 6.
What cheats to expect (based on past games)
Nothing is confirmed, but going by GTA history, expect single-player cheats for:
- Full health and armour, and invincibility
- Give weapons and ammo
- Lower or raise the wanted level
- Spawn specific vehicles
- Change the weather
- Player buffs like super jump, fast run or slow-motion aim
These are expectations, not confirmed codes — and, as always, cheats will not work in the online mode.
Beware fake cheats and scams
