The Ignus Pursuit lands in GTA Online at 5,835,000, and there is a cheaper way in
The Pegassi Ignus Pursuit is the law enforcement hypercar from The Kortz Center Heist update, and it goes on sale this week at Warstock Cache & Carry for GTA$5,835,000. There is also a trade price of GTA$4,376,250, which is 1,458,750 less, and getting it has nothing to do with the heist.
What the Ignus Pursuit is
It is a police variant of the Pegassi Ignus, the two door hypercar modelled on the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37. It sits in the Emergency class, seats two, drives all four wheels through a seven speed box, and it is stored in a personal garage and modified in a property you own rather than at a regular Los Santos Customs.
One thing worth clearing up before you spend six million: this is not the Weaponized Ignus. That one arrived back in 2021 with The Contract and carries guns. The Pursuit is a different vehicle. Its listed equipment is a missile lock on jammer, which protects you rather than shoots anything.
The price and the discount that is actually worth chasing
Full price is GTA$5,835,000. The trade price is GTA$4,376,250, exactly 25 percent off, and it unlocks after completing ten Dispatch Work missions.
That saving is worth a session of work, but there is a catch in the order of operations. Dispatch Work only starts from inside a law enforcement vehicle you already own, so the discount is aimed at players who bought one of the cheaper police vehicles first. If the Ignus Pursuit would be your first badge on the driveway, the trade price is out of reach until you own something else in the class.
How Dispatch Work pays for itself
Dispatch Work is freemode police work for Officer Vincent Effenburger, the jobs the department cannot be seen doing itself. You get into a law enforcement vehicle you own, click the right stick, and take whatever comes up. There are four kinds: recovering incriminating footage from a gang hideout, confiscating narcotics and dropping them at Vincent's lockup, clearing gang leaders out of a marked area, and defusing explosives at a site.
Each one pays GTA$25,000 and 500 RP, so ten of them return GTA$250,000 on their own before the discount is applied. Each mission also unlocks the trade price on a different law enforcement vehicle, which is why the counter matters more than the payout.
About the top speed you are going to see quoted
Community databases list the Ignus Pursuit at 160.25 km/h, or 99.57 mph. That number comes straight out of the vehicle files and it is not a lap tested figure. Rockstar's file values and what players actually record on a track have never matched, on this car or any other, so treat it as a label rather than a measurement until somebody times it.
What else this week brings
The Grotti Veleno GT leaves early access and goes on sale to everyone at Legendary Motorsport, while GTA+ members can still claim it free through August 12. The Kortz Center Heist rotates to a new set of Primary Targets and the first time weekly completion bonus resets with it, and there is a GTA$400,000 weekly challenge for finishing the heist without dying.
Mansion owners who played between June 17 and July 13 also have Elitist tier rewards from the Fine Art Collector Program waiting until August 5: a GTA$1,000,000 discount on the Art Studio, a free vault keypad upgrade, two pieces for the collection and a free Western Company Annihilator Stealth.
