Cars are the busiest corner of GTA 5 modding and the one where compatibility bites hardest: an add-on vehicle that loads fine on Legacy can crash Enhanced on startup, and a bad install order takes the whole game down with it. Everything here says which edition it runs on and whether it is an add-on (sits alongside the originals) or a replace (overwrites one). One rule we do not bend: we only host vehicles whose author actually made them. Cars ripped from other games are not the author's to give away, and hosting them would be stealing from a different studio instead of this one.

Where can I download GTA 5 car mods?

GTA6 Cartel's GTA 5 Vehicles section hosts add-on cars, bikes and handling mods, each tagged Legacy, Enhanced or both so you know it will load on your build before you download.

Do GTA 5 car mods work on the Enhanced edition?

Some do and some do not. An add-on vehicle built for Legacy can crash Enhanced on startup if it was not rebuilt for it. Every car here is tagged for the edition it runs on, so there is no guessing.

What's the difference between add-on and replace car mods?

Add-on cars are added as brand-new vehicles alongside the originals, while replace mods overwrite an existing in-game car. Add-ons do not touch the base game, which makes them easier to remove.

Are GTA 5 car mods free?

Yes. Every vehicle here is free and hosted with the author's permission, credited to its original creator. We do not host cars ripped from other games.
