Claim
Front three quarter view of the orange widebody Nissan GT-R with carbon canards, vented hood and a tall carbon GT wing in front of a garage shutter
Rear three quarter view at a sunset airfield showing the swan neck carbon wing, four round taillights and riveted widebody arches
The GT-R parked on airfield concrete with the hood open over the twin turbo V6 and both doors open

The R35 GT-R picked up the Godzilla nickname for the way it bullied supercars costing twice as much, and this add-on dresses it in the full Robot Craftsman widebody treatment for GTA V Enhanced. The orange paint sits over a kit that is almost entirely bare carbon: riveted arch extensions front and rear, canards stacked beside the bumper intakes, a vented hood with a deep scoop, sculpted side skirt extensions and a huge swan neck GT wing planted on the trunk lid.

Round the back it keeps the GT-R signature of four round taillights, now framed in carbon above a diffuser that swallows the exhaust tips, while deep dish multi spoke wheels with Michelin lettered tyres fill the widened arches. The extras finish the build: the hood opens over a detailed twin turbo V6, the doors and trunk are fully modelled, and the first person view sits you behind the real GT-R cluster, blue ringed dials and multifunction screen included.

The car installs as its own dlcpack, so nothing from the stock garage gets replaced. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, add the line for the robgodgtr package to dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the model name robgodgtr, the same name as the folder.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound by Streiter_V12 and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so performance will depend on the rest of your mod list.

Original mod by Mykes Customs with a custom sound by Streiter_V12, converted to GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/robgodgtr/</Item> and save the file.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name robgodgtr.

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the widebody GT-R in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name robgodgtr, which matches the dlcpack folder name.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by Mykes Customs instead.

What is the Robot Craftsman Godzilla kit?

It is a real widebody program for the R35 GT-R built around carbon aero: riveted arch extensions, canards, a vented hood and a swan neck GT wing, which is exactly the setup this model recreates.
