Michael's sensible family sedan retires, and a chauffeur grade Mercedes-Benz V-Class moves into the driveway. This Mafia Edition build of the German MPV replaces the Tailgater in GTA V Enhanced, so it takes over everywhere the game uses that car, story missions included: one of the screenshots shows it mid mission on the way to Dr. Friedlander's office with a passenger lounging in the back.
The van earns the VIP label. Outside there is an AMG style grille, a V8 Biturbo badge on the fender, fine turbine spoke wheels, roof rails and even a tow hitch, with white and dark blue paints shown in the screenshots. Inside is the real showpiece: four quilted leather captain chairs in orange, a panoramic glass roof wrapped in a fibre optic starlight headliner, a navigation screen on the dash and a black leather trim that appears in the mission shot. The hood, sliding door and tailgate all open, and there is a fully modelled driving position with working gauges.
Despite being a replace, it installs cleanly as its own dlcpack: copy the folder into dlcpacks, register the vclass21tdb package in dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and the van takes over the tailgater model name automatically. To spawn one directly, use tailgater in any trainer.
The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so performance will depend on the rest of your mod list.

Frequently asked questions
How do I spawn the V-Class in game?
Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name tailgater. Note the dlcpack folder is called vclass21tdb while the spawn name stays tailgater.
I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?
Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.
Does it work on GTA V Legacy?
No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by Inter Customs instead.
Does this replace Michael's car in the story?
Yes. It takes over the tailgater model name, so it appears wherever the game would use the Tailgater, including Michael's driveway and story missions, as the mission screenshot shows.
