GTA 5EnhancedMercedes-Benz S600 W140

Add-on Mercedes-Benz S600 W140 for GTA V Enhanced: the nineties V12 flagship with modelled engine bay and two engine sound variants.

Claim
Front three quarter of the black S600 W140 with clear lens headlamps, eight hole alloys and the San Andreas plate, parked at a gas station
Rear three quarter with the S600 boot badge, the V12 emblem on the pillar and exhaust smoke, with a wooden country fence behind
Elevated view at an intersection with the hood, the doors and the boot open, showing the V12 engine cover in the bay

The W140 was the last S-Class engineered as if the budget were someone else's problem, and the S600 is its crown: the six litre V12 limousine of the nineties. This add-on brings it to GTA V Enhanced in black, with the clear lens headlamps, the tall chrome grille under the bonnet star and the eight hole alloys that every 90s Benz seemed to wear. The conversion is listed as ready for both the stock Enhanced look and NVE.

The badges tell the story before you open anything: S600 lettering on the boot and the V12 emblem on the rear pillar. And when you do open it, the elevated screenshot lifts the bonnet, the doors and the boot at once and shows the wide V12 engine cover sitting in the bay. From the driver's seat the cabin keeps the period details, the four spoke wheel with the Mercedes star in the middle and the full analog cluster behind it, and the exhaust leaves a lazy puff hanging in the air on cold starts.

The car installs as its own dlcpack, so nothing from the stock garage gets replaced. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, add the w140s600 line to dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the same name: w140s600.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced.

Original mod by Mad EA, converted to GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

Requirements

  • GTA V Enhanced
  • OpenIV (or the onigiri loader) to edit dlclist.xml
  • A trainer with vehicle spawning to spawn the car

How to install

  1. 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/w140s600/</Item> and save the file.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name w140s600.

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the S600 W140 in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name w140s600. Here the spawn name matches the dlcpack folder, so the same word goes in dlclist.xml and in the trainer.

Is the V12 engine modelled?

Yes — the screenshots open the bonnet and show the wide V12 engine cover in the bay, and the rear pillar carries the V12 emblem like the real car.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No — this build is DimoSerb's conversion for GTA V Enhanced, and the page also lists it as ready for NVE.
