Claim
Front three quarter view of the white widebody Charger with twin grey bonnet stripes, hood scoops, a splitter with canards and black five spoke wheels with SRT caps
Rear three quarter view with the black ducktail spoiler, CHARGER and SRT badges, vortex generators on the roof and the widebody arches
The white Charger at an abandoned gas station with the bonnet and doors open, showing the supercharger on top of the V8

The SRT Ghoul is Hawks Customz's take on the widebody Charger pushed a step past the factory: twin grey stripes with white pinstriping, extra scoops cut into the bonnet, a splitter with canards, a black ducktail spoiler, vortex generators on the roof edge and a demon style Ghoul badge on the front wings. Under the bonnet sits a supercharged V8 — one of the screenshots opens the car up at an abandoned gas station and lets the blower show.

This one works differently from a normal add-on: it answers to the model name buffalo2, so it takes the place of the Buffalo S in the game — the four door muscle saloon Franklin keeps in his driveway. That means the Ghoul will appear in missions and anywhere that car spawns, which is the point of the mod, but worth knowing before you install it.

The screenshots also show the interior from the driver's seat, with an orange ambient light strip wrapping the dash, twin dial cluster and the touchscreen on the console, plus the original builder's Instagram sticker on the glass.

Installation still follows the dlcpack route: copy the folder into dlcpacks, register the ChargGhoul package in dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader — mind the capital letters — and either spawn buffalo2 with a trainer or simply find the car where the Buffalo S normally lives.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA audio, the safe choice when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced.

Original mod by Hawks Customz, converted to GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

Requirements

  • GTA V Enhanced
  • OpenIV (or the onigiri loader) to edit dlclist.xml
  • A trainer with vehicle spawning, or just find the car where the Buffalo S spawns

How to install

  1. 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/ChargGhoul/</Item> and save the file — mind the capital letters in ChargGhoul.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name buffalo2, or find it wherever the Buffalo S appears.

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the SRT Ghoul in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name buffalo2. Since the mod takes over that model, the car also shows up on its own wherever the Buffalo S normally appears.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by Hawks Customz instead.

Does this replace a car from the story?

Yes. The buffalo2 model is the Bravado Buffalo S — Franklin's personal saloon — so the Ghoul will appear in missions and in his driveway. There is no separate add-on spawn name; if you want the stock Buffalo S back, remove the dlcpack.
