Claim
Front three quarter view of the silver Challenger Dragpak with a blue stripe over the hood, 354 graphic, MOPAR nose lettering and skinny front drag wheels
Rear three quarter view showing the wheelie bars, the parachute pack, the dragpak and Mopar quarter panel livery and the DODGE taillight bar
Side view of the Challenger mid wheelie with both front wheels off the ground beside an industrial building

Dodge builds the Challenger Drag Pak for exactly one job, covering a quarter mile as fast as a factory car legally can in NHRA sportsman racing, and this add-on brings that machine to GTA V Enhanced. The silver body wears the classic Mopar look: a blue stripe edged in warm pink over the hood and roof, a big 354 on the scooped hood for the cubic inches of the supercharged HEMI the real package runs, MOPAR across the nose between quad halo headlights, and dragpak logos on the rear quarters. The stance is proper drag spec too, with skinny lettered runners up front and fat slicks out back.

The extras are where it gets fun. Wheelie bars and a parachute pack hang off the tail, and since they are modelled as vehicle extras you can toggle them from any trainer that manages extras. Inside there is a full roll cage, an overhead panel of labelled toggle switches for starter, ignition, fuel and more, white faced gauges and a dash screen that boots to the dragpak logo. Launch it hard and the front wheels come off the ground.

The car installs as its own dlcpack, so nothing from the stock garage gets replaced. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, add the line for the dragpak package to dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the model name dragpak, the same name as the folder.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so performance will depend on the rest of your mod list.

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the Challenger Dragpak in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name dragpak, which matches the dlcpack folder name.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by Potato Mods instead.

Can I remove the wheelie bars and the parachute?

Yes. They are modelled as vehicle extras, so any trainer that manages extras can toggle them on or off without touching the files.
