Claim
Night shot of the black M8 with its red light strips glowing along the skirts and splitter, red lit headlights and the see through bonnet panel
Daytime front three quarter view showing the carbon bonnet with its glass window, red pinstripes, red trimmed intakes and wheels with red spokes
Rear three quarter view with the carbon GT wing on struts, quad exhaust tips in the diffuser and the M8 Competition badge by the San Andreas plate

This M8 Competition build by DR Customs leans fully into the show car look: a carbon widebody with animated light strips that trace the side skirts, the splitter lip and the intake surrounds, all glowing red once they cycle on. The party piece is the bonnet, a carbon panel with a glass window in the middle, and under it the V8 sits dressed in illuminated red plumbing that shines through at night like something out of a neon garage.

The screenshots show the rest of the package: a struts mounted carbon GT wing over the boot lid, quad exhaust tips buried in a carbon diffuser, red pinstripes over the carbon weave, Y spoke wheels with red accented blades and red hub bolts, and red rings inside the LED headlights. The night shot makes the point best, with the side glow lighting the tarmac under the car. As the original title says, the release is prepared for both plain Enhanced and the NaturalVision Evolved graphics overhaul, so NVE users can install it as is.

The car ships as its own dlcpack and replaces nothing in the stock garage. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, register the 2ncsbmwm8 package in dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the model name 2ncsbmwm8, the same as the folder.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound by Aquaphobic and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so performance will depend on the rest of your mod list.

Original mod by DR Customs, custom engine sound by Aquaphobic, converted for GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

How to install

  1. 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/2ncsbmwm8/</Item> and save the file.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name 2ncsbmwm8.

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the M8 2NCS in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name 2ncsbmwm8, which matches the dlcpack folder name.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by DR Customs instead.

What do the animated lights do?

The build carries animated light strips along the skirts, splitter and intakes, plus an illuminated engine bay visible through the bonnet's glass window, as the night screenshots show.
