Claim
Front three quarter view of the black M5 G90 with the vented AC Schnitzer bonnet, illuminated twin bar grille and orange brake calipers by the sea
Rear three quarter view showing the ducktail spoiler, AC Schnitzer and ACS Sport badges, quad exhausts and chrome multi spoke wheels in an alley
The M5 parked on a dock with doors and bonnet open, showing the fully modelled engine bay and the orange accented interior

AC Schnitzer is the Aachen tuner that has been sharpening BMWs for decades, and this add-on dresses the newest M5 in its full programme. MS Garage's model brings the G90, the first M5 of the hybrid V8 era, to GTA V Enhanced wearing the ACS kit: a vented bonnet, a deep front splitter, side skirt blades, a ducktail spoiler and ACS Sport badging across the tail, all sitting on chrome multi spoke wheels over orange brake calipers.

The screenshots make the level of detail easy to check. Up front, the twin bar grille is illuminated and carries a small M5 badge; at the dock, the car poses with its doors and bonnet open, showing a fully modelled engine bay and an interior stitched with orange accents. From the driver's seat you get the modern BMW cockpit: the M wheel with its red M1 and M2 buttons and an orange centre stripe, the digital instrument cluster and the huge curved screen displaying the drive mode setup page, exactly as it appears in the captures.

The car installs as its own dlcpack called MS_M5G90Custom and nothing from the stock garage is replaced. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, register the package in dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the model name MS_M5G90Custom, typed exactly as written: the capitals and the underscore are part of the name.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound by Azerrty and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so performance will depend on the rest of your mod list.

Original mod by MS Garage, custom engine sound by Azerrty, converted for GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

Requirements

  • GTA V Enhanced
  • OpenIV (or the onigiri loader) to edit dlclist.xml
  • A trainer with vehicle spawning to spawn the car

How to install

  1. 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/MS_M5G90Custom/</Item> and save the file.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name MS_M5G90Custom, written exactly like that.

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the M5 G90 in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name MS_M5G90Custom, typed exactly as written, with the capital letters and the underscore. It matches the dlcpack folder name.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by MS Garage instead.

What does the AC Schnitzer kit include?

The build wears the ACS styling programme seen in the screenshots: vented bonnet, front splitter, side skirts, ducktail spoiler, ACS Sport badging and multi spoke wheels.
