Claim
Front three quarter of the black Maybach S580 at dusk with the chrome vertical slat grille, the bonnet ornament and polished dish wheels, next to a farm fence
Rear three quarter with the MAYBACH lettering across the boot, the S 680 badge, chrome bumper trim and the chrome dish wheels
Hood and doors open at a gas station showing the cream leather cabin, the entertainment screens on both front seatbacks, the rear climate console and the red ambient light lines

Few cars are bought for the back seat, and the Maybach is their king. This add-on brings the 2021 Mercedes-Maybach S580 to GTA V Enhanced as the long wheelbase flagship in black, with the chrome vertical slat grille, the bonnet ornament and polished dish wheels that look borrowed from a chauffeur fleet. The conversion is listed as ready for both the stock Enhanced look and NVE.

The cabin is the real show. With the doors open, the screenshots reveal a cream leather lounge with entertainment screens on both front seatbacks, a climate console between the rear seats, wood door panels and red ambient light lines running through the whole interior. The rear pillar carries the Maybach emblem, the boot wears the MAYBACH lettering and, a curious detail, an S 680 badge straight from the original model, even though the release is titled S580. From the driver's seat you get the analog style cluster and the ornament crowning the long bonnet.

One warning from the author, in his own words: install the FENDER part with any trainer to get the complete vehicle. It takes a few seconds in the vehicle menu of any trainer and the body is whole.

The car installs as its own dlcpack, so nothing from the stock garage gets replaced. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, add the 21s580m line to dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the same name: 21s580m.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced.

Original mod by Wycc, converted to GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

Requirements

  • GTA V Enhanced
  • OpenIV (or the onigiri loader) to edit dlclist.xml
  • A trainer with vehicle spawning, also used to fit the FENDER part

How to install

  1. 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/21s580m/</Item> and save the file.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name 21s580m.
  5. 5Install the FENDER part with any trainer to get the complete vehicle (the author's own note).

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the Maybach S580 in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name 21s580m. Here the spawn name matches the dlcpack folder, so the same word goes in dlclist.xml and in the trainer.

The car looks incomplete. What am I missing?

Install the FENDER part from the vehicle menu of any trainer — the author notes it is required to get the complete body.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Why does the boot badge read S 680?

That badge comes from the original 3D model and shows as S 680 in the screenshots. The author published the release as the S580, and this page keeps his title.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No — this build is DimoSerb's conversion for GTA V Enhanced, and the page also lists it as ready for NVE.
