The W223 S-Class is the flagship Mercedes limousine: a long, imposing saloon with a slab-sided body, flush door handles and a cabin built around big screens. This mod brings Mehv's 2020 S450 to GTA V Enhanced, and it can go in two ways — as a standalone add-on with its own dlcpack, or as a replace for the stock Tailgater.
The screenshots show the car in a deep blue over a beige leather interior, riding on multi-spoke wheels. The front keeps the classic upright chrome grille with the big star, the rear wears the S 450 and 4MATIC badges with connected LED taillights, and the cabin is fully modelled with a digital cluster, a central touchscreen and screens for the rear passengers. Every door, the bonnet and the boot open, and the model ships with extras you can toggle from a trainer.
Installation follows the usual add-on route: drop the folder into dlcpacks (mods or onigiri), register dlcpacks:/mehtiev223/ in dlclist.xml and spawn it with a trainer under the name mehtiev223. There is also a replace option that installs over the Tailgater; only one mod can replace the Tailgater at a time, so the add-on route is the safer choice. The original release ships two downloads, one with the custom engine sound and one with the stock GTA engine audio, for players whose games already carry other sound add-ons that would conflict with it.

How to install
- 1Add-on: copy the folder to \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or onigiri\dlcpacks).
- 2With OpenIV, open update.rpf\common\data\dlclist.xml (or onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml in Notepad), add <Item>dlcpacks:/mehtiev223/</Item> and save.
- 3Spawn the car with a trainer using the name mehtiev223.
- 4Replace (optional): copy the replace folder's contents into \mods\x64e.rpf\levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf to overwrite the stock Tailgater instead.
Frequently asked questions
How do I spawn the S450?
Use the add-on version: register dlcpacks:/mehtiev223/ in dlclist.xml and spawn mehtiev223 with a trainer. If you install the replace instead, it takes the place of the stock Tailgater.
Add-on or replace — which should I use?
The add-on keeps every stock car intact. The replace overwrites the Tailgater, and only one mod can replace the Tailgater at a time, so pick the add-on unless you specifically want it in traffic.
The engine makes no sound — what happened?
Other engine sound add-ons can conflict with the custom audio; the issue is known since the Legacy version. The original release includes a second download with stock GTA engine sounds — use that one if you are affected.
Does it work on GTA V Legacy?
No. This conversion targets GTA V Enhanced and its dlcpacks structure.
