ClaimThe 2020 Shelby GT500 is the most powerful street Mustang Ford ever signed off, and this add-on brings it to GTA V Enhanced as a show build rather than a showroom copy. Over the ruby red paint and twin white racing stripes, the customization is easy to spot in the screenshots: a tall black rear wing in place of the stock lip, chrome directional wheels behind which the drilled brake discs are clearly visible, red accents on the headlights and a carbon splitter with the Shelby lettering under the nose. The cobra badge sits everywhere it should, from the grille to the tail panel between the taillights.
The cabin is the proper GT500 environment: a digital instrument cluster flanked by the drive mode readout, three auxiliary gauges on top of the carbon trimmed dash, the touchscreen on the center stack and the cobra crest in the middle of the steering wheel. In first person the driver's hands sit correctly on the rim, which makes it an easy car to live with in cockpit view.
The car installs as its own dlcpack, so nothing from the stock garage gets replaced. Drop the folder into dlcpacks, add one line to dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the model name 20gt500.
The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so your frame rate will depend on the rest of your mod list.

How to install
- 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
- 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
- 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/20gt500/</Item> and save the file.
- 4In game, spawn the car with the model name 20gt500.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?
Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.
Does it work on GTA V Legacy?
No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by Foxtrotdelta instead.
