GTA 5Enhanced2010 Lexus LFA

Add-on Lexus LFA for GTA V Enhanced with an automatic rear wing, a custom engine sound variant and one that keeps the stock GTA audio.

Claim
Front three quarter view of the dark grey Lexus LFA with hood vents, the F fender badge and red Lexus calipers behind Y spoke wheels
Rear three quarter view of the black LFA with the active wing sitting flush, red taillights and P Zero lettered tyres
Overhead view of the LFA in a parking lot with the hood open over the V10 and both doors swung out

Lexus spent a decade obsessing over the LFA, built five hundred of them and never made anything like it again: a 4.8 litre V10 screaming to 9,000 rpm with an exhaust note tuned alongside Yamaha, revving so fast the factory fitted a digital tachometer because a physical needle could not keep up. This add-on brings the legend to GTA V Enhanced in dark grey, with the hood vents, the F badge on the fender, the blue tinted emblem in the grille and red Lexus calipers behind Y spoke wheels wrapped in P Zero lettered rubber.

The headline feature is the automatic spoiler: like the real car, the rear wing sits flush in the tail and rises on its own at speed before tucking away again. The rest of the package holds up, with a hood that opens over the V10, fully modelled doors and an interior that nails the LFA's oddities, from the orange lit digital tach arc to the drive mode pod beside the cluster and the period correct CD changer console between the seats.

The car installs as its own dlcpack. Copy the folder into dlcpacks, add the line for the shonen package to dlclist.xml with OpenIV or the onigiri loader, and spawn it with the model name lfa10. Watch the naming here, because the folder is called shonen while the spawn name is lfa10.

The download comes in two variants: one with a custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA engine audio, useful when another sound add-on conflicts with it, an issue the author notes has existed since the Legacy days. The mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V Enhanced, so performance will depend on the rest of your mod list.

Original mod by shonen, converted to GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. Hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, with the original release linked as the source.

Requirements

  • GTA V Enhanced
  • OpenIV (or the onigiri loader) to edit dlclist.xml
  • A trainer with vehicle spawning to spawn the car

How to install

  1. 1Copy the contents of the folder to mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or to onigiri\dlcpacks if you use the onigiri loader).
  2. 2With OpenIV, open update\update.rpf\common\data and edit dlclist.xml. With onigiri, edit onigiri\common\data\dlclist.xml with any text editor.
  3. 3Add the line <Item>dlcpacks:/shonen/</Item> and save the file.
  4. 4In game, spawn the car with the model name lfa10 (note it differs from the folder name).

Frequently asked questions

How do I spawn the Lexus LFA in game?

Use any trainer and spawn it by the model name lfa10. Note the dlcpack folder is called shonen while the spawn name is lfa10.

I can't hear the engine sound. What's wrong?

Engine sound add-ons can conflict with each other, an issue that has existed since the Legacy scene. If it happens to you, install the variant that keeps the stock GTA engine sound.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This port targets GTA V Enhanced only, so Legacy players should look for the original release by shonen instead.

Does the rear wing move like on the real LFA?

Yes. The wing is automatic: it sits flush in the tail, rises on its own once you pick up speed and retracts again when you slow down, just like the active spoiler on the real car.
