The 2006 Hummer H1 Alpha Open Top is an add-on off-roader for GTA V Enhanced, converted by DimoSerb from the original model built by GODzGIFT. It drops the roofless version of the civilian H1 into Los Santos: no cabin roof at all, just a black roll cage over the seats, a load bed behind them and the wide, flat-sided body that the H1 is known for, shown here in olive green.
The truck is dressed for work rather than for show. It runs chunky off-road tyres on white wheels with a spare mounted at the rear, a black brush guard with tow hooks up front, a mesh vent across the centre of the hood, a light bar on the cage and a hitch ball on the rear bumper. Because the cabin is open, the seats, the roll bars and the dashboard are all on display from outside, so the interior work is visible in normal driving rather than only in first person. The conversion targets the Enhanced build of GTA V and setups running NaturalVision Evolved (NVE). The author has also released an update that fixed the seat layout, the driver position and the player's hands on the steering wheel.
The download ships in two flavours: one with the custom engine sound and one that keeps the stock GTA V engine audio. Go for the stock version if you already run other sound add-ons and the engine goes silent on you. Installation is the usual add-on routine: copy the h1 folder into your dlcpacks, add the matching line to dlclist.xml and spawn it with the name h1 from any trainer. The author notes that the mod was developed and tested on a clean copy of GTA V, so frame rate depends on how much else you have loaded.
Original model by GODzGIFT; original engine sound mod by Aquaphobic; converted for GTA V Enhanced by DimoSerb. It is hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, and the original Nexus release is linked as the source.

Frequently asked questions
What is the spawn name?
Use 'h1' from any trainer or spawner.
Does it work on GTA V Legacy?
No. This is an Enhanced conversion; it targets GTA V Enhanced (and NVE), not the Legacy build.
Is it an add-on or a replace?
Add-on. It does not overwrite any stock vehicle; you spawn it separately with 'h1'.
The engine is silent. What happened?
That is the known Enhanced sound conflict with other audio add-ons. Install the stock-engine-sound version included in the download.
Is the driving position fixed?
Yes. The author released an update that corrected the seat layout, the driver position and the player's hands on the steering wheel.
