The 1987 Mercedes-Benz 560 SEC is an add-on car for GTA V Enhanced, converted by DimoSerb from an original model built by mrfive. It brings the classic C126-generation S-Class coupe to Los Santos in deep black, dropped over its arches on a set of AMG-style chrome monoblock wheels. The look is period-perfect: the tall chrome grille with the three-pointed star, the twin rectangular headlights, the full-length chrome side trim, the discreet boot spoiler and the '560 SEC' script across the tail. Custom wheels for this build come from davidbaach, and DimoSerb has also reworked the handling so it drives like the heavy grand tourer it is.

This is a high-detail conversion rather than a quick port. The bodywork opens up front and rear, showing the modelled engine bay and boot, and the doors open onto a full 1980s Mercedes cabin. One honest caveat: the author has flagged a known bug where the driver's hands do not sit on the steering wheel, so in first person and in cutscenes the hands float away from the rim. It is purely cosmetic and does not change how the car drives. Everything else, from the paint to the chrome, is built for the Enhanced build of GTA V and tuned to look right under NaturalVision Evolved (NVE).

The download ships in two flavours: one carries a custom engine sound and the other keeps the stock GTA V engine audio. Use the stock-sound version if you already run other sound add-ons and hit the known Enhanced conflict where the engine goes silent. Installation is the standard add-on routine: copy the mb560sec folder into your dlcpacks, add the matching line to your dlclist.xml, and spawn the car with mb560sec from any trainer.

Original model by mrfive; custom wheels by davidbaach; handling edit and GTA V Enhanced conversion by DimoSerb. It is hosted on GTA6 Cartel with the author's permission, and the original Nexus release is linked as the source. The Nexus title's "Mercedez-Benz" spelling has been corrected to "Mercedes-Benz" here.

Requirements

  • GTA V Enhanced
  • OpenIV (or onigiri) to edit dlclist.xml
  • A trainer or spawner to spawn 'mb560sec'
  • Optional: NaturalVision Evolved (NVE)

How to install

  1. 1Copy the 'mb560sec' folder into mods\update\x64\dlcpacks (or into onigiri\dlcpacks).
  2. 2Open dlclist.xml in update\update.rpf\common\data (or onigiri\common\data) with OpenIV or Notepad.
  3. 3Add the line dlcpacks:/mb560sec/ inside Item tags and save.
  4. 4Spawn the car with the name 'mb560sec' from your trainer.
  5. 5Choose the custom-sound or stock-sound version; use stock if other sound add-ons mute the engine.

Frequently asked questions

What is the spawn name?

Use 'mb560sec' from any trainer or spawner.

Does it work on GTA V Legacy?

No. This is an Enhanced conversion; it targets GTA V Enhanced (and NVE), not the Legacy build.

The engine is silent. What happened?

That is the known Enhanced sound conflict with other audio add-ons. Install the stock-engine-sound version included in the download.

Why aren't the driver's hands on the steering wheel?

That is a known bug the original author flagged: the driver's hands do not attach to the wheel, so they float in first person and in cutscenes. It is cosmetic and does not affect how the car drives.
