i found tommy vercetti's mansion and all i got was this lousy t-shirt

part of the criminal lore, people talk about him

literally what they did with the Grove Street Families in GTA 5 and the Red Dead Revolver characters in Redemption.

its probably like gta 5, there was technically a tommy vercetti in that timeline and he was just some random npc you could bump into, nothing to do with the vice city guy.

honestly id lose my mind if later in the game Jason and Lucia bumped into some old retired guy in a loud shirt and it turned out to be a reworked Tommy. never gonna happen but a man can dream.

been chewing on that Tommy Vercetti Estate line in the new info. the way its worded almost sounds like a place you visit rather than a person.

im hoping the estate ends up being a museum or historic tourist spot you can actually walk around. that would be a sick way to honour the character without needing him alive.

if Vercetti is in GTA 6 then CJ has to be in too and hell come back as well. cant have one without the other obviously.

yeah it said the guns are "sourced" from the Vercetti estate with some special detailing. reads more like a supplier than a character to me.

"Vercetti Estate" in this context might just mean hes dead and it got passed on, you know, an estate as in the stuff you leave behind.

honestly i think theres something interesting here. we already know a reimagined, younger Phil Cassidy is showing up, so a reworked HD Vercetti in some form isnt off the table.

i just read it as the gun's detailing being inspired by the Vercetti estate, like a cosmetic thing, not some big lore confirmation.

hell get name dropped as this legendary vice city kingpin from back in the day, a myth people still bring up, but you never actually meet him.

a rebooted Tommy could actually be cool. his fall from the top could be a nod to the original without being the exact same guy.
