No wonder it's not coming to PC at launchEN

does anyone genuinely expect a same day pc release from these guys? gta5 made us wait forever, rdr2 too. being a pc player just means paying the patience tax on every rockstar game

i mean if gta is the only game you touch then sure. otherwise pc has like 10x the library to keep you busy while you wait it out

rdr2 was only about a year and change tbh, gta5 was the genuinely brutal wait. either way a simultaneous pc release just isnt something rockstar has ever done

rdr2 was almost exactly a year to the day iirc. if the pc port isnt bundled with the next gen console version im calling roughly 12 months after launch

i work the tv and audio floor at a big retailer over here in the EU and the ps5 pro preorders right now are actual madness. were moving like 20 to 30 pros a day plus a mountain of physical gta6 preorders. these things were collecting dust a month ago and now we cant keep them in stock

guess ill finally put a proper pc together the week this thing lands on steam

its not piracy or any of that, the delay is just so the pc crowd gives in and double dips on console first

the second it hits pc theres a fitgirl repack out within days. loads of people on the fence just quietly wait for that instead

eh i really doubt piracy is the reason. gta5 is like the 2nd best selling game of all time and its been cracked to death, didnt dent the sales at all

honestly i think its because all their little cash shop and microtransaction tricks are way easier to get around on pc. thats the real reason if you ask me

cant wait to actually start modding this thing. praying its OpenIV friendly right out the gate

sure we wait a year, but on day one we get car packs, new weapons, custom outfits, whole tool mods. thats the trade and honestly its worth it. pc players eat good

hot take but i think its the sony money talking. that "plays best on playstation" line falls apart the second it runs on a 5090 the same day. ive got a series x and a pile of reward points id happily burn on the console version, then grab it on pc later. i just wish i could skip straight to the pc one
