Genuine question for the thread. When you picture booting VI up for the very first time, what is the ONE thing you're most hyped about? The story, the world, the roleplay, or just messing around in a new sandbox?

Trying to get a feel for what actually pulls people to these games. Drop yours.

density for me. interiors you can actually walk into, npcs with routines, little collectible hunts tucked in corners. the pull is just having a fresh R* world to comb through inch by inch

messing with the npcs. thats the whole post

the map, no contest. i want VC denser than Night City, but more than that i want the outskirts to get the same love, Ambrosia, the Grassrivers, the Keys. if they end up as filler you just drive through it'd be a waste. give me a Leonida i can actually live in

cant narrow it to one so heres the shortlist: boat and canal traversal, npcs that react to what you're doing, the Jason and Lucia dynamic, buying a place and actually decorating it, how the city looks at night, dumb side stuff like fishing, and finding an easter egg nobody's documented yet. plus the classic, sitting on a bench at sunset going yeah, worth the wait

walking the map instead of driving it, dressing the two of them up, and fishing. give me the slow stuff

a big new sandbox to just exist in. i dont need a pitch, i'll find my own fun once i'm in there

bro the WHOLE thing ๐Ÿ˜ญ i was in primary school last time we got one ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

mine's the AI honestly. i want cops that escalate properly, a rattled patrol officer who misses half his shots, versus a tac unit that only shows up at higher stars and actually flanks. RDR2 flirted with it, i want VI to commit. lazy aimbot police age a game faster than anything

for me it's just that it exists. thirteen years is a long stretch without a new one. Online papered over the gap for a while but that ran dry years ago. mostly i just want to sit down with a proper single player R* game again

same as most people, all of it. hard to point at one thing when you've been starved of new GTA for over a decade

for me it's the getting-lost feeling. drop me in a world detailed enough that i forget i'm holding a controller for an hour or two. RDR2 immersion but modern and nothing else this gen comes close
