might take a nice relaxing kayak out to those little islands across from Jasons place. no rush at all.

first thing i did in rdr2 was ride straight to Saint Denis, something about that place pulled me in and i had to scope it out early. ill probably do the exact same and make a beeline for the big city here.

sounds daft but this is genuinely high on my list of things that would really let me down if we cant do them. if i wanna sit on a park bench, or park my backside on a kerb and just watch the world, i should be allowed to.

its just hit me that most of us are basically gonna roleplay as an alien on day one. oh i can walk, neat. oh look, i can run too, fun. whats this button do. classic first hour behaviour.

years ago id have said explore the whole map instantly. but rdr2 slowly revealing itself chapter by chapter ended up being one of my favourite things about it. rushing to the city too early genuinely takes the magic out, so this time im holding back.

i jokingly said earlier id go clothes shopping with Lucia, but honestly, id just drive around like an npc, obeying the traffic laws and soaking in every bit of scenery. let the world set the pace.

explore and hunt down every 80s Vice City reference i can. the Vercetti Estate, the Malibu Club, the Ocean View, that old golf course, see how much of it theyve actually kept in.

one thing im definitely doing the second i hold the disc in my hands, reminisce about all these years with you lot, the droughts, the delays, re reading my own miserable comments about being let down, and THEN finally sliding it in. gonna be emotional not gonna lie.

honestly reading all of this has me even more hyped, and its kinda wild how nearly everyone just wants to slow right down and live in it rather than blow it all up. see you all on the other side of the tutorial, however many years away that still is lol
